The Final Meeting in Ankara
The final activity of our project was held in our country and hosted by our school between 11-14 March.
On the first day of our program, previous studies were evaluated; Coding and algorithm themed in- and out-of-class activities were observed, and an exhibition of coding games designed with recycled materials was visited by our children and parents.
On the second day, a visit was made to Faik Erbağı Primary School in our district in order to observe the coding studies at the primary level and the activities carried out in the classroom of Classroom Teacher Güler ŞAHİN were observed. Coding and algorithm-themed in-class activity observations continued in our school. At the Anatolian Civilizations Museum, planned coding and algorithm applications were carried out by our teachers using museum objects.
On the third day, an activity with the theme of "music and coding" was observed. The content of the coding activities booklet, which is the output of our project, and the materials of "My coding bag without a computer", whose production phase was completed after its design, were examined and evaluated. During the visit to MEB YEĞİTEK- Educational Technologies Incubation and Innovation Center, information was obtained about the institution and its activities and application examples were examined.
On the last day of the mobility, a presentation and information was shared about our ongoing e-twinning project "My coding bag without a computer". Evaluations were made about the effects of the activities carried out within the scope of the project on achieving the determined goals. Ideas for the sustainability and dissemination of our project were shared and a road map was created. Our program ended with the distribution of “My coding bag without a computer” bags and participation certificates.
